David is the founder and co-director of New Cinema Club, a non-profit organization that connects filmmakers to films, resources, screenings, and each other. A direct successor to Cinema Club--which David founded and ran from 2011 to 2016--NewC hosts monthly screenings, facilitates production and distribution workshops, and partners with emerging curators to showcase work from underrepresented voices in American independent filmmaking.
David co-founded and served as CEO for the impact distribution label PICTURED, overseeing the distribution campaign for the 2016 feature doc Oriented, eventually selling the film to Netflix at TIFF.
